Painter Vincent Van Gogh’s life story comes to Cinema, and will be part of 2017 QCinema International Film Festival

22499042_877329772434711_709437890672116821_oLOVING VINCENT tells the story of the famous painter Vincent van Gogh. It was written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, and considered as the world’s first fully oil painted feature film.

The film brings the paintings of Vincent van Gogh to life to tell his remarkable story. Every one of the 65,000 frames of the film is an oil-painting hand-painted by 125 professional oil-painters who travelled from all across the world to the Loving Vincent studios in Poland and Greece to be a part of the production. As remarkable as Vincent’s brilliant paintings, is his passionate and ill-fated life, and mysterious death.

This October 2017, Loving Vincent will finally be shown in Philippine Cinemas as part of the 5th QCinema International Festival, also served as the opening film of the said festival on October 19 (invitational only).

October 23 (Monday) @ 9 pm in U.P. Town Center Cinema, Katipunan Ave. Quezon City and
October 24 (Tuesday) @ 3:30 pm in Gateway Mall Cinema, Cubao Quezon City.
