Asean International Film Festival & Awards (AIFFA) is targeting to gain a ‘Guiness world record’ this year

Last March 4, 2017,  The Asean International Film Festival & Awards (AIFFA) Festival Director Ms. Livan Tajang together with AIFFA publicity manager Ms. Fadhilla Abdullah has visited the Cinematheque Centre Manila to announce that this year’s AIFFA festival is to be held on May 4 to 6, 2017 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

In honor of the City’s name, Kuching meaning Cat and because the said city has served as the festival’s venue for the third time this 2017. They encourages all the attendees not only the film makers and the celebrity participants but ALL the guests to wear ‘Cat’ costume as they target to gain the ‘Guiness world record’ by hosting the largest number of people dressed in cat costume in a single event.  Meowww!!!  Ms. Livan said, “it was something fun to do”.

The Asean International Film Festival & Awards has been collaborated and in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) since it was launched.
